Item Description
Marvel Comics. Toybiz 2000. Figures were based on the first Master wax 2 up size 2.25" tall head sculpt mounted to a custom purple cast resin base signed by the artist. The wax sculpt has incredible detail surpassing any castings in the produced 6" figures. The lot also comes with a 2 up resin head depicting an early full beard design for the character and the resin paint master which is signed and dated. The sculpt is of Sabretooth as played by Tyler Mane and there is no mistaking the likeness. Ends of hair on wax sculpt are missing from production but resin shows the full piece with neck post. Trio is NM as produced during the creative process and any defects are part of that process. Also comes with photocopies that were used as photo reference for sculpting. From the archives of sculptor extraordinaire Tim Bruckner and comes with COA.
