Item Description
5x9x8" tall mostly tin litho wind-up w/built-in key. Marx, ©1940 WDP. Toy is designed like delivery cart w/Pinocchio figure having jointed thin masonite arms/legs as made, allowing for movement as if pedaling cart ahead of him. Cart has lithography w/portraits of Stromboli, Gideon, Foulfellow and Geppetto w/larger images of Figaro and Jiminy Cricket, as if they are riding in cart's basket. Toy shows some scattered wear w/streaks of bare metal visible on cart wheel rims and scattered wear at moving parts w/some paint nicks to Pinocchio's hat. Some scattered aging/dust soiling, but working and Fine overall. Scarce.
