Item Description

Original worn mailing envelope postmarked Dec 21, 1934 and hand addressed from G. Landis - Merchandise Mart, Chicago, IL (altering Disney's California address) contains 7-1/8x9-1/8" on glossy cardstock. Merchandise Mart is a commercial building in Chicago, the largest of its kind when it opened in 1930. The building is a leading retailing and wholesale destination. Card features scene of Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Pluto, Horace Horsecollar, Clarabelle Cow, Goofy and Clara Cluck in the snow singing and playing instruments. Blank reverse. Front has been signed "G. Landis" in blue ink. Slightest trace of age toning and minute corner tip wear. Clean, glossy and Exc. Envelope is aged and worn w/tears. VG.
