Item Description

This multi-feature premium came from Post's cereal in 1960. Fury was a popular Saturday morning TV show from 1955 to 1966 which opened with the  line "The Story Of A Horse- And The Boy Who Loved Him". The plastic device is 4-3/8" tall, 1.5" wide and 1" deep. It includes: weather indicator (litmus paper now permanently blue), flashlight (present on interior but original battery not working and stuck in internal tube), whistle on brass keychain, pen (ink dried), ruler, compass, and multipage note tablet on device front complete with cover sheet "Fury Adventure Kit". One side edge has A-Z Morse code chart. One back lower corner has .25" stress hairline in plastic. Rest is Mint except for the parts not working due to 57 years passage of time.  We've seen only two or three in our 50 years. Tom Tumbusch Collection/Tomart Archives.
