Item Description
5.75x11". 1940. Portrait of FDR at top center flanked by American flags and an eagle perched at center of text along base. Scattered paint wear. Most notable are an 1/8x.5" sliver of missing paint at 4 o'clock on the portrait frame that affects the flag at right and a tiny less than 1/8" speck missing just above FDR's right eye. VF. Majority of paint wear contained to extreme edges and the plate retains over 95% of its original paint. One of only three specimens known to us. The outstanding graphics and rarity combined with the ability to mate it to a Willkie example known in this design make it among the most sought after license plate toppers in the organized hobby.
