Item Description

8.5x12-3/8x1" deep cardboard box w/illustrated lid label contains A.C. Gilbert Co. set No. 3002, 1922 . Lid label features image of boy working on electrical apparatus w/this set spread before him. Box has some scattered corner tip wear and box bottom has split along right edge. Fine/VF overall. Lid label has crease at boy's hand but is o/w VF. Box comes w/original receipt w/penciled price of $1.75 and 1922 date. Set appears complete w/"Elementary Electricity For Study And Use With Gilbert Electrical Sets" manual, inspection slip, typed usage slip, certificate for membership in the "Gilbert Engineering Institute For Boys" and various components for electrical experiments and projects.
