Item Description
11x18-7/8x3.25" deep wooden case contains A.C. Gilbert Co. set No. 3004, 1920. Case has metal fasteners and lid has "Gilbert Toys Electrical" decal and this shows scattered wear. Underside of lid has series of metal tacks holding "Gilbert Tele-Set" and "Gilbert Electrical Sets" manuals as well as unused telegram sheets. Items attached to lid show some lt. aging and are Fine overall. Case is Fine overall. Set appears complete w/unused "Gilbert Engineering Institute For Boys" certificate, inspection slip and various components for electrical experiments and telegraph set-up. Set appears unused and is Exc. overall. Rare early larger set. Barry Lutsky Collection.
