Item Description
8-7/8x10x2.5" deep wooden case contains A.C. Gilbert Co. set, 1930. Case's bi fold lid has metal "Gilbert" plate/fastener, which shows aging/oxidation. Case is Fine overall. Undersides of lid have labels listing all the items this kit could be used to make. Some include - magnifying glasses, kaleidoscope, telescopes, periscopes, etc. Case holds various components for experiments and the listed projects. Comes w/"Gilbert Thrills Magazine" voucher card and "Gilbert Opto Kit" manual, which shows some lt. wear and is Fine/VF overall. Set appears complete w/unused w/original inserts and packing material.
