Item Description
8.5x12-3/8x3" deep wooden case contains A.C. Gilbert Co. set, 1915. Case has metal fasteners and lid has "Gilbert Toys Electrical" decal and this shows obvious wear. Underside of lid has insert that along w/tray insert, holds various components for electrical experiments and projects, and tray lifts out to reveal more components below. Case shows some wear and is Fine/VF. Comes w/"Elementary Electricity For Study And Use With Erector Electrical Set" and "How To Become An Erector Master Engineer" manuals, which show some scattered wear w/first manual having some moisture staining. Fine overall. Set appears complete w/unused w/some lt. aging and trace oxidation to a piece here and there. Fine-Exc. overall. Early set. Barry Lutsky Collection.
