Item Description
George Reeves personal 2.25x3.75" member card for Los Angeles, CA American Federation of Musicians association. In addition to being an actor, Reeves was also an accomplished guitarist and singer. This card was obtained just prior to a nearly month-long tour of state fairs in 1957 in which he appeared as Clark Kent, playing guitar and singing and also appearing as Superman and wrestling an opponent name Mr. Kryptonite. Card has Reeves' name stamped at top and back has a number of "Dues Paid" stamps. Card is unsigned. Some lt. scattered wear w/faint crease at upper left. VF/Exc. Comes w/two typed and folded letters stating provenance as being from the George Reeves Estate as obtained via Reeves' personal manager. Interesting personal artifact. Franco Toscanini Collection.
