Item Description

First two buttons are tin litho, other four are cello and sizes are 1-3/8" to 3.5". Begins with rarely seen small version of button usually seen as 4" litho. We feel this is the first officially licensed (by NEMS) USA used button and has 1964 copyright on curl. NM. Next is also rare with photos of all four Beatles accented by two insect beetles. No copyright or maker name, but c. earliest USA tour issue. White background has .25" and .75" pair of hairline scratches with rest NM. Next is mid-1960s Rolling Stones, we believe their first USA made button with Slater, NYC and zone number (Slater was late in changing from zone numbers to ZIPs) on curl. Next is rare advance publicity button for undated but 1960s appearance of The Byrds in Greenwich Village at the famous Village Gate. Last are two scarce to rare Monkees buttons. All Exc. to Mint except as noted. A great vintage group of buttons with rarities.
