Item Description
The three binocular shaped stanhopes are 1" tall of celluloid. Two have hand inked "Niagara Falls" inscriptions. On the third, ink is worn off. The two Falls are quite similar in shape and interior photos. One has nine photos, the other ten, all of Falls and related features such as Goat Island, Cave of the Winds, etc. Of the 19 photos, ten are easily seen with readable captions. The others are too blurry at edges of vision field when held to light. The 3-D binocular is titled in the photos "Canadian Rockies." There are four identical photos  in each lens with four of eight total views sharp and clear showing Lake Louise, Banff RR Hotel, etc. Last, and a much more costly c. 1890s era souvenir, is a 17" long necklace of oval opaline beads on brass links. At center is barrel shaped opaline stanhope. Seen are four sharp and clear views titled "Niagara Fall, NY" with four photos titled "Horseshoe Falls, General View, Cave of the Winds, Whirlpool Rapids". Essentially Mint, First stanhope we've seen in this necklace format.
