Item Description
8" long including eagle hanger. Graphic of log cabin and text above referencing W. H. Harrison reading "Tippecanoe 1840 & 1888 Protection Too." Additional text at bottom reads "Protection For American Labor." Eagle hanger has a less than .25" square area of tarnish at extreme right and otherwise has a nice amount of rainbow toning seen in reflected light. Ribbon has two horizontal creases at center that would likely iron out. Otherwise this is a super clean beauty w/strong ink. Exc. Sullivan and Fischer cataloged over 230 Harrison campaign ribbons for their legendary "American Political Ribbons And Ribbon Badges" reference text and this was not among them. Rare.
