Item Description
Unused 8.5x11" sheet w/letterhead design that includes full figure image of Superman at top right w/"S" symbol at bottom center along w/participating sponsors - Superman Inc., Journal American and WOR Radio 710. Some lt. handling wear at top right, o/w unused and NM. Comes w/3-5/8x5.25" stiff paper card promoting Macy's 1940 Thanksgiving Parade. Card features full body image of Superman in classic hands on hips pose next to "Boys And Girls - See Superman In Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade - Hear Superman On The Radio WOR 710" text, followed by show times. The Superman display was the largest balloon featured in the 1940 parade. Card is evenly aged w/just minor corner bump at upper left. Exc./NM. Rare. See following items #1878-1879.
