Item Description
Unusual 4" tall (5-1/8" tall to tip of plastic spout) 4 oz. tin container for "Super Man Brand" oil marked on back "LSA Lube Oil, Semi-Fluid (Automatic Weapons)." Front shows Superman and Captain Marvel Jr. mash-up image, featuring classic Captain Marvel Jr. costume and flying pose, but w/Superman's "S" shield logo on his chest. Unlicensed image and name use. 1960s. Container is empty and shows some lt. wear from use w/top of plastic spout sliced off. Fine/VF. Franco Toscanini Collection.
