Item Description
Set of eight 11x14" lobby cards for the original release of the 1920 silent film, originally advertised as "The Return Of Tarzan." The third Tarzan film produced, the film starred Gene Polar as Tarzan. The film was produced by the Great Western Film Producing Company, a subsidiary of the Numa Pictures Corporation. The film was sold to Goldwyn Pictures for distribution. Set includes seven of the scarcer color-tinted lobby cards and single bw card. Pin holes at corners w/four cards having applied "The Revenge Of Tarzan" title paste-overs at correct spot. Scattered aging and lt. handling wear; one card has 1/8" corner tip surface paper off. Fine/VF overall. Rare set.
