Item Description
1.75" rare button with W&H name on curl along with equally tiny text "Copyright 1903 (year early) LA. Purchase Souvenir Co." In spite of being a very nice design,  the button, if made in any quantity, was an apparent flop with the public as this is the only example we've seen in our 50 years. Top carries expo name and 1904 date, center has flag with lady in purple dress and matching fur accent cape unrolling scroll map of US to show the purchase area. Titled below "A Deed Of The Pen". Trivial trace of surface denting. Exc. and displays Mint. From color plate page #162. Comes w/Hake's COA.
