Item Description

First is the 1950 ring given by Popsicle and other sponsors. This is silvered brass with large oval portrait surrounded by a horseshoe on the top. Flanking are his "HC" initials and Bar XX brand. NM. Next is the same ring, but one of only a couple examples we've seen in our 50 years that does not have the silver plating. This metal is brass and with a gorgeous rainbow patina over most of its surface. Rare and NM. Next is the 1952 ring used by Post's Cereal and Meadow Gold Dairy. Brass base with "HC" and "(bar) 20" on the sides with plastic compass inserted at top and then a fully 3-D metal replica of Hoppy's hat that fits snuggly over the compass. Light loss of black paint but with near 100% base luster. Last are two plastic rings. The gold base version is earliest and was sold off a store card that included other personalities on the 1950 era. Second version has white base. A trace of wear on each insert, an actual glossy b/w photo. Both are VF. The only known ring which is not included is a sterling silver version of the ring used by Popsicle.
