Item Description

Sizes are 13/16" to 1.75". This western themed group leads off with rare 1950 tourist souvenir button in vivid colors showing "Buffalo Bill" on horseback at "Lookout Mtn., Colo". Bill is shown on two additional buttons in the group. Hickok and Carson are from 1930s western theme set issued by Button Gum in the 1930s. Next are four of ten from 1950s set called Van Brode America Series. These are Cody #1, Boone #9, Crockett #3 and Carson #6. Cody has .5" rim scratch. Next are five from set of 25 frontiersman and Indians from the 1960s- Masterson, Billy The Kid, Cody, Boone and lightly worn Jesse James. In our photo, top three rows are all litho except the 1.75" Cody. Next are western theme and rodeo buttons 1930s to 1950s. Lithos are Row 4, #1 and 3, Row 5, #3. Light tone on the rare "Cowboy Hall of Fame Charter Member" button. Earliest button is for 1916 "Roundup San Jose". All Exc. to Mint except as noted. Nice western group.
