Item Description

8x11-1/8" 12-page booklet reprinting part of the "Superman's Hollywood Debut" storyline, consisting of daily strips #922-954 (originally published 1941-1942). Printed in France in 1946 as part of the "Le Editions Mondiales," all text is French. Color cover features three different images of Superman (combination of image from strips reprinted here), though his costume colors have been reversed. All strip art is bw. Storyline deals w/film studio wanting to make Superman film, w/Clark Kent being cast due to his resemblance to Superman. Booklet has slight margin aging and corner tip wear but is VF overall. Scarce and interesting. Franco Toscanini Collection.
