Item Description
3.5x6" four-page folder on glossy paper. Issued in 1940, the same year Gum Inc. produced the classic 72 card set. Front has classic full body image of Superman above "Free Prizes For Superman Bubble Gum Club Memberships" text. Opens to reveal detailed club information including how prizes could be obtained along w/images of 12 different Superman items including - badge, scrap book, coloring book, cut-out book, boxed puzzle set, peep-show pistol w/Superman filmstrip, Daisy Krypto-Raygun, Ideal doll, Marx wind-up tank/airplane, dispatch case, Milton Bradley game. Prizes on the back cover include - sweatshirt, very rare play suit and play pants. Prizes could be obtained by sending in money and wrappers or free of charge by recruiting new members and using the club applications from the wrappers. Some minor handling wear but bright, clean and Exc. overall. Very rare, only a few examples are known.
