Item Description
Lot of two. Issued in 1956. ACC# R712-3. Empty display box is 4x8.25x2" deep and is variety that originally contained 24 5¢ packs. Die-cut lid is missing, only the top edge flap remains (and has brown paper tape on this and on back panel covering some of the Bazooka Gum advertising). However the other three side panels are nicely illustrated with portraits of the historical figures featured in this set: Wild Bill Hickok, Calamity Jane, Buffalo Bill, Wyatt Earp, Daniel Boone, Jesse James, Geronimo and Kit Carson. Other edge wear but corners are tight and still VG for display as is. Rare in any condition. 3x3.75" pack is 1¢ variety w/repeated cowboy image (5¢ wrapper has single image). Tiny hole on bottom edge, broken gum inside but still glossy and EX. The New England Non-Sports Card Collection.
