Item Description
Lot of 14 postcards, each 3.5x5.5". Nine are from a numbered series (7085, 7092, 7098-7099, 7102, 7104, 7106-7107 offered in this lot) released by Inter-Art Co. Five are from numbered series (513-514, 518, 520, 522) by Woolstone Bros. Remaining card is unnumbered. All 1930s. Some cards feature references to Mickey Mouse films distributed by Ideal Films Ltd. on backs. All feature choice art of Mickey and/or Minnie Mouse. Some cards of note include Mickey being chased and arrested by angry-looking cat policeman, Mickey and Minnie in car w/Minnie hood ornament and Mickey holding paint brush, standing in front of wall w/crossed out posters for Charlie Chaplin and Douglas Fairbanks. 10 cards have been postally used while rest are unused. Scattered handling wear and aging. VF to Exc. overall. Doug & Pat Wengel Collection.
