Item Description
5" tall stuffed mohair doll with wire inserts for posing, felt hands and feet, glass eyes, fabric bow tie and mother-of-pearl buttons. From 1930, this is the smallest of seven Flip dolls made by Whyte, Ridsdale & Co. Ltd. of London (See page 35 of Disneyana by Munsey). Underside of one foot has complete label with text including "Flip The Frog By Arrangement With Showman Films London." Has all-over obvious aging and traces of fading. Wire insert has poked through fabric of left arm but felt hand covers this, one toe has 1/8" tear at seam. VG. First time we've offered this charming doll.
