Item Description
6" tall doll from the 1930s by Dean's Rag Book Company Ltd. This "Jazzer" doll has a wire attachment to reverse and is designed to be mounted to a record player so that "When The Record Is Revolving At Its Normal Speed The Figure Should Dance An Amazing Variety Of Jazz Steps." Original box with label for this specific doll has obvious dust soiling/aging. VG. Doll is complete with small 3x3.5" instruction sheet as well as wing nut and threaded pin for connection. Paper has obvious dust soiling and wear, VG. Doll has velveteen stuffed body with felt ears, hands and feet, metal eyes and plastic buttons. White face and hands have moderate dust soiling, slight all-over aging of the pants so a bit duller than the original vibrant blue color. Inside edge of left shoe has tiny 1/8x.25" piece of missing felt, front of pants have single pinpoint insect hole barely visible. Still displays VF. An exceptional doll and the first we've ever offered.
