Item Description
14x22" stiff cardboard sign for c. 1975 Broadway performance at the Belasco. In 1974, producer James Petruccio brought the show to Los Angeles at the Roxy Club, then to the Belasco Theater in New York where critics panned it. It closed there after 45 performances. Text at top reads "Give Our Regards To Broadway And Tell Them We're On Our Way! Rocky." Card features iconic graphics of surprised looking Trixie w/signature bright red lips and "The Rocky Horror Show" show title across her forehead. Text on hair notes "Starring Tim Curry," who would later go on to star in the 1975 cult musical film adaptation. Curry was among the original London cast of Richard O'Brien's (Riff Raff) musical and carried the show over to the US. Scattered aging along right and bottom margins w/some scattered aging at upper right corner. Still VF overall.
