Item Description
3.5x4" display bag w/two-sided header card contains two-piece plastic ring. Macman Enterprises Inc. c. 1966 and obviously inspired by the popularity of the "Batman" TV show. Rings came w/either gold or silver plastic base, this is silver and has separate detachable figural black bat piece. Card notes it "Glows In The Dark" although obviously not made as such as neither piece is luminous plastic. Packaging is Exc. w/punched hanger hole. Ring is Mint. Header card has 3.5x5.5" single-sided stiff paper card that reads "Sorry! Due To Circumstances Beyond Our Control Batman Will Be Unable To Appear Today At Chevy City." This card was attached to the ring and offered as a consolation prize in lieu of Batman's canceled appearance. Some lt. aging/handling wear. VF. First we've seen. John G. Fantucchio Collection.
