Item Description
Button is 15/16" featuring bw photo of Brace Beemer wearing hat and mask portraying The Lone Ranger seated on Silver. The image is identical to that shown on a 1933 exhibit card. Button was likely made between April and May 1933 while Beemer played the title role. The maker's name "Parisian Novelty Co." of Chicago appears on the bottom curl. The inscriptions read "Hi-Yo, Silver!" and "The Lone Ranger." A similar 1.25" button exists with same slogan but different photo. NM with trivial loss of flashing on reverse. The best of only two we've seen. Rare & historic.
