Item Description

Lot of three sets of figural Shmoo salt and pepper shakers. 1940s-1960s. Plain cardboard box (complete w/original packing material) contains matched pair of ceramic male/female shakers. Male is 4" tall while female is 3-5/8" tall. Both are complete w/stoppers and "Made In Japan" foil stickers on undersides. Aside from tiny spot of red paint off over-the-glaze heart accent on female Shmoo shaker, set is NM. 2.25" tall china shakers w/blue/pink accents, gold luster accents and openings in faces are complete w/small cork stoppers on undersides. NM. 4.75" tall ceramic pair depicted as chefs have painted facial accents. Both are complete w/stoppers on undersides and Exc. Barry Lutsky Collection.
