Item Description
Lot of three, all part of a line of ceramics imported from Japan in the early 1960s and distributed by the Dan Brechner Company. 6" long painted and glazed ceramic bank w/some over-the-glaze paint plus decals. Underside has partial foil Dan Brechner sticker. "Uncle Scrooge Bank" decal on front. Missing trap. 5.5" long by 5.25" tall planter features Donald Duck pushing large cart. Donald's bow tie is missing half of its over-the-paint red color, w/wear to remaining paint. Matched pair of 4.5" tall bookends w/Ludwig Von Drake emerging from TV to shake Donald's nephew's hand. Pieces show scattered wear, w/Uncle Scrooge being more evident. Fine to Exc. overall. Nice selection of this 1960s line, featuring Donald Duck and his extended family.
