Item Description
Pair of 11x14" lobby cards for the original release of the 1949 RKO Radio Pictures made by the same creative team responsible for "King Kong." Produced by Merian C. Cooper (who wrote the story) and Ruth Rose (who wrote the screenplay), the film was directed by Ernest B. Schoedsack and stars Robert Armstrong, Terry Moore and Ben Johnson. Both cards feature same image of the titular giant gorilla saving woman from attacking lions. One card features image of Moore and Johnson while other shows colorful native scene. Cards have some scattered handling wear w/1" tear at bottom center of Moore/Johnson card and small .25" tear along right. Native card has small margins tears w/7/8" tear at top center. Both are Fine overall.
