Item Description
6.25" long ribbon badge reads "President's Reception Los Angeles August 2nd, 1923 Special Guest" w/cello hanger in the shape of a poppy flower petal w/text "Los Angeles." Reverse of badge has "Western Badge. Co" label. Also included are three 2-1/8x3-5/8" tickets; first is on thick card stock to "Admit Bearer To Platform On Floor Of Stadium" and other two are identical to "Admit Bearer To Peristyle Section." All are in choice condition, essentially Mint as made. Badge and cards are dated for the day of Harding's death at the Palace Hotel in San Francisco. Rare and the first we can recall in our 50 years. Fascinating Harding artifacts from the final day of the 29th President.
