Item Description
2-5/8x6". Union patriotic ribbon unlisted among the 12 in Sullivan/Fischer. Flag displays 33 stars meaning this anti-secessionist ribbon was produced after Oregon became a state in February of 1859 but before Kansas was admitted in January of 1861. Very likely this ribbon is related to the Bell/Everett 1860 Constitutional Union Party. Six tiny holes under 1/16" around "This Flag." Bottom margin has pair of 1/8" holes and overall there are small scattered tan age marks. VG. Rare. Leon Rowe Collection.
