Item Description
Pair of celluloid buttons issued by burlesque houses and worn by employees to promote performers. 3-3/8" dia. "Next Attraction - Margie Hart" button has Philadelphia Badge Co. name on curl and cardboard backing. c. 1940s. Some lt. surface wear and minute indentations but still glossy and VF/Exc. 2-1/8" dia. "Coming Next Week - Virginia Bell" button is c. 1960s. Three small spots of discoloration by "Virginia" and lt. scattered surface wear w/some loss to flashing on back. Fine/VF. Both are rare and first we've offered.
