Item Description
1.25" with no maker name and no back paper but early and c. 1900. Colorful depiction of black man with wide open eyes, big toothy smile and with very curly hair. Image is posed against a gold background which has numerous darkened dots although still with overall golden luster and without much stain showing on the portrait itself. A very unusual image. From Collectible Pin-Back Buttons color plate page #158. Comes with Hake's COA. The only example known to us.
