Item Description
Lot of six 2x2" metal slide holders that were placed in front of TV cameras, the slide images being seen just prior to episodes of the 1966 "Batman" TV show resuming after a commercial break. These slides were obtained from a former ABC employee who designed the slides, selecting images from comic books and adding text announcing the next episode. The slides offered here each include Season 1 episode titles. These include - Ep. 8 "Rats! Like Cheese," Ep. 9 "Zelda! The Great," Ep. 10 "A Death! Worse.. Than Fate," Ep. 13 "The Thirteenth Hat" (featuring the Batmobile), Ep. 21 "Part 1 - The Penguin Goes Straight" and Ep. 22 "Part 2 - Not Yet, He Ain't" (featuring the Martian Manhunter, a popular fellow Justice League of America character). Each slide holder has raised "Cenei" name and "Germany" text. Exc. Something very different for the Batman collector and would look great in a lightbox display.
