Item Description
Rare ring offered very briefly by Quaker Cereals in the summer of 1941 with expiration date of 8/30/41 and promotional text in ads. "Before Orphan Annie Comes Back On The Air Next Fall." Ring has "SG" initials on each side while top has her portrait covered by a small magnifying glass in a brass frame which has a pin on the upper edge so the frame can be turned to the side. Lens frame edges lost luster and lens has near invisible sliver missing from edge less than 1/16" long. Ring itself has .25" luster off end of one prong, but about 95% of the ring has bright, original luster. Overall Rare & VF.
