First button has Bastian paper used 1907-1920, next three have W&H papers used 1900-1912 and final button is missing back paper with rather heavy oxidation on the reverse but clean cello. First button promotes c. 1910 motorcycle. Second is beautiful color button issued for the "Mora" automobile produced in Newark, NY between 1906 and 1910. It was a small to medium size car made in both four and six cylinder models. The button, in superb color, pictures a woman wearing a head covering for use while in a car and with rim caption "The Sealed Bonnet Hero." Extreme edge at 11 o'clock has a faint grey dot, barely seen with the rest being Mint. Third is silvered brass badge for 1919 Virginia chauffer with serial number "4835." Fourth, and with 1909 patent date, shows device and with text "For Good Roads Use Gillespie's Grader." Last two buttons both promote the Washington sight seeing company showing multi passenger open air vehicle plus identical text on both "The International Auto Sight Seeing Transit Co./Touring Interior Public Buildings." Slight fade of the red rim version. The other five pieces in this lot are NM displaying Mint.
