Item Description
First is 1.5" for 1899 "Street Fair & Midway Moline, Ill." Couple tiny faint grey dots. First we've seen. Back paper by Baldwin & Gleason. Next is 1.25" with covered tin back naming St. Louis Button Co. Couple of smooth marks on metal back where some oxidation was ground off. Pair of .25" hairline cello splits next to the metal back, one of which has two tiny cracks to the left and right making it very slightly loose but barely seen from the front and still fully attached. Great color and design issued for 1904 "Galena Fair." Couple of faint spots that blend. First we've seen. Third is 1" oval on a stickpin. Issued for 1809/1909 St. Louis Centennial."  Fourth is 1.5" reading "Chicago 1901." Reverse has W&H paper. Right background has pair of 1/8" and .25" hairline cello cracks that just barely catch reflected light. There is a third above the numerals "19". These barely show and the button retains wonderful color and high gloss. Some age spots on the back along the collet but very little showing on the front. Last is superb city promotional from 1908. This 2-1/8" button reads "Chicago The Worlds Greatest Convention City." Back paper by W&H with very large type "Let It Be Chicago For 1908."  Some light age on the back paper but the cello is 99% clean with the only exception a couple of faint pinpoint age dots on extreme right edge barely showing.
