Item Description
First are a pair of "Army/Navy" oval cardboard footballs attached to 1" stickpin. c. 1930s. Next are four "Navy" 1.25" pinback buttons. Two of these are joined to large lithographed tin figural footballs, the first of which is marked "Made In Japan" and the second without that text. Second has a separation where the blue ribbon joins the football and the yellow ribbon has two small splits but is still intact. Third item in this group is button joined to a 5" sailor doll with a "US Navy" celluloid head. Last is button joined to a 4.5" celluloid football player doll with moveable arms. Reverse is marked "Made In Occupied Japan." Next group has pair of 1.25" "Army" buttons with one joined to a three dimensional celluloid donkey and the other joined to a three dimensional tin football marked "Made In Japan." Next is 2.75" button with "Sink The Navy" slogan. Next is "Beat Navy In '63" 2.75" button. Tiny bit of grey stain on bottom edge and two faint traces further in. Fifth is figural football button "Go Army Go." Last is 5" figural "Go Army" button. Items are from the 1930s to the 1960s. All in Exc. to Mint condition unless noted otherwise.
