Item Description
"Louisiana Story 1963 By James Farmer" was published by CORE in Nov. 1963. Text tells the story of confrontations in Louisiana during CORE's efforts to register African American voters. Vertical crease at center. Fine. Flyer within booklet lists contribution amounts and what they would go for including "$75 Will Provide 750 Student Leaders The New Manual On Non-Violent Direct Action."  Second is "The Right To Vote" published in 1962. It details what it takes to register to vote in South Carolina w/over 30 photos. Overall light brown age toning and handling wear consistent w/minor use most notably a 1/8" horizontal edge tear at top right of cover. VF. Scarce.
