Item Description
7.75" long. 1856. Woodcut portrait of candidate w/text "For President James Buchanan For Vice President J. C. Breckinridge" at bottom. The top 1.5" of this ribbon is completely separated and attached w/archival tape on reverse. This does not affect the portrait which remains strong and clean. A tiny 1/16" hole at top center and a few scattered light brown dots of toning that do not affect design. Technically VG but displays VF. Rare. Leon Rowe Collection.
