Item Description
First is thick card stock blank back palm card advertising a performance of "The Greatest Newspaper Play The Fourth Estate". Text at top of card notes proceeds benefit the "Co-Operative Service League." A less than .25" ink stain on left edge just above center and a 2.5" diagonal crease that just breaks the surface paper in the lower left field. Otherwise only scrapbook remnants at corners and lightly inscribed pencil notations on reverse. VF. Second is a newsprint handbill reading "Your Great Opportunity To Hear The Country's Famous Suffrage Speakers Dr. Anna Howard Shaw Hon. Wm. H. Wadhams Harmanus Bleecker Hall Sunday, Oct. 28th At 4 PM." A 1/2" horizontal edge tear just above the "S" in "Sunday" and bottom corners each have losses that do not affect the text. VF. A rare survivor that is the first we can recall seeing in our 50 years.
