Item Description
Muhammad Ali fought three boxing matches against Ken Norton. The first match took place on March 31, 1973; the second on Sept. 10, 1973; and the third on Sept. 28, 1976. Norton won the first match through a split decision on points while Ali won the second match through a split decision on points. Ali also won the third match through a unanimous decision on points. Offered here is 8-3/8x11" official program for 1976 fight that took place at Yankee Stadium. Cover features color photos of both boxers and program contains numerous photos of both as well as articles and newspaper covers concerning Ali's past fight history. Program also features biographies and stats for each boxer as well as numerous advertisements. Pinch creases to spin but Fine/VF overall. Comes w/pair of 3" dia. buttons (w/N.G. Slater make name and 1976 copyright on curls) for the fight, one w/Ali's name incorporated into large "Alive" text w/outline of Ali's body. Other features Norton's name w/photo image. Both have "Ali-Norton World Heavyweight Championship Fight" text w/Yankee Stadium location and date. Both are bright, glossy and Exc.
