Item Description
9.25x3x2.5"tall w/4.5" tall mounting bracket at top. c. 1928. Open base allows light to reflect off interior mirror and illuminate the glass "Hoover" panel. Edge wear to metal mount and scattered tarnish along back and mirror surface all consistent w/moderate use. Fine. Reverse painted glass retains 99% of its original paint, Extremely Fine. We've seen this item as a lapel badge but this is the first example of this larger car attachment we can recall encountering. Leon Rowe Collection.
