Item Description
Lamp has painted tin body w/5" dia. by 4" tall (6.5" tall to top of socket). Soreng-Manegold, 1935. This is green body version (also came in beige). Around outside surface are three identical Mickey Mouse decals and all are nearly 100% complete. Base shows lt. scattered aging/wear w/some minor nicks/scratches but remains totally bright and glossy. VF. Original electric cord has fraying to silk wrapping and switch is tight. Does not work. Comes w/5" tall glossy thin cardboard shade from a numbered series of six different. This is "5" featuring Mickey, Clara Cluck, Pluto, Minnie Mouse and Clarabelle Cow tiptoeing though "Ye Haunted House." Shade has all-over moderate aging/dust soiling along w/some scattered hairline creases. 1" split along bottom by Clara Cluck image and small spot of surface break on Mickey image. Still structurally sound, color is strong and appearance still remains glossy. VG. These shades are significantly more rare than the lamp itself.
