Item Description
Original 3.5x5.5x3" deep cardboard box w/illustrated lid contains 5.25" tall toy w/built-in key. Made in Japan, 1930s and distributed by Geo. Borgfeldt Corp. Lid features three different illustrations of long-billed Donald Duck on sides. Lid features text variety noting toy as "Donald Duck Waddler." Box remains bright, clean and exhibits little wear w/just small pencil price on main lid panel. .25" tear at one lid corner, o/w Exc. Raised "Donald Duck © Walt Disney" names on back of Donald's shirt. Toy has nice dark blue color to shirt/hat and is free of any cracks. Shallow indent to backside w/two tiny dents to back of elbow and collar. Toy works, waddles about. Still bright, clean and VF overall. Nice example w/high grade box, the nicest example of this box we have seen in our 50 years.
