Item Description
Lot of four 1940s buttons. Three are 7/8" dia. First "Captain Marvel - Shazam" tin litho button is from 1941. Second cello button w/blue bkg. dates to 1944 (a similar cello button from 1942 had white bkg.). Third is tin litho button from 1946 featuring slightly different art. Some scattered trace wear but all remain bright and glossy. VF to Exc. overall. 1-1/8" dia. tin litho button from 1948 features full body image of Captain Marvel throwing jet plane and was issued for "Captain Marvel Club." Scattered surface wear w/some oxidation on reverse. Fine overall.
