Item Description
Lot of four 1930s buttons. Lot includes three 1.25" dia. buttons w/"Dick Tracy - Detective" text at edges and two feature same profile image of Tracy, one slightly expanded, showing Tracy w/gun drawn. Other button shows Tracy facing forward w/gun drawn. All have facsimile signature of creator Chester Gould. These are the first buttons to promote the comic strip. Two have "Chicago Tribune" backpapers. 7/8" dia. button features Dick Tracy and Dick Tracy Jr., w/both their names. Scattered trace wear and lt. aging. All remain glossy and bright. VF to Exc. Classic lot of Dick Tracy buttons.
