Item Description
13" tall largest variety w/painted composition body and segmented wood tail. Cameo Doll Co., 1935. Decal on chest w/"Jeep" name. Decal also has 1935 KFS copyright. Unlike most examples of this doll that you see, this one is 100% all original and w/no restoration whatsoever. Tightly strung and stands nicely for display. Doll remains bright, clean and glossy and shows only the slightest trace of wear, in the form of scattered lt. crazing and some lt. dust soiling. "Jeep" decal has thin .5" long sliver off "Jeep" name, but still VF/Exc. overall. Great likeness of the mysterious, magical creature from E.C. Segar's "Thimble Theater" comic strip.
